Innovative ways of Exterior Elevation Designing
The Exterior of any House, Building or Commercial space plays a very vital role in terms of its reputation. Exterior of the building leaves an impression in people’s mind. People judge it by seeing the exterior design that how creatively it is designed. One should add different elements to the elevation design for making it more beautiful and perfect. The architect understands the scope of the designing work by studying the floor plans of the project and then start shaping the exterior of the building.
In modern exterior design concepts, more of the clean look and less of the details highlighting the geometrical sides makes the elevation complete. So, following the modern concepts we as an architect need to focus on some basic concepts and elements that can enhance the building exterior.
- A green facade is created by growing climbing plants up and across the facade of a building, either from plants grown in garden beds at its base or by container planting installed at different levels across the building. Green facades can create a cooler microclimate immediately adjacent to a building, primarily through direct shading of the building facade, but also from cooling from plant foliage (transpiration of water through the leaves), and evaporative loss of water from the growing medium.
- The profile cuts can be added to the Home elevation as it can give unique touch to your designing. The simply designed profile cuts can be used in your elevation. Using different kind of projection beams within the projection limit giving a unique look to the elevation
- Add standard textures to the wall while designing the elevation as it can give exceptional look to your design. Well-placed expanses of glass i.e., Green/efficient/well-insulated/well-suited for the environment. Focus on joinery – how individual materials come together – not simply placing a piece of trim over a joint
- In the era of glass facades, utilizing solar panels for the building facade may seem like an obvious but not many have thought of it. A solar facade system converts sun rays into energy and most facades can be used for solar cladding. Ventilated solar facade technology offers many advantages such as electricity production, facade insulation, extra thermal properties, noise reduction, modernization of old facades.
